CHIMERA


CHIMERA
The Chimera (from the greek Χίμαιρα, Chimaira, literally "goat" in Latin Chimaera) is a mythological animal with the body parts of different animals. According to the greek myth is part of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna, with Hydra of Lerna, Cerberus and Ortro.
Descriptions vary - some seconds he could breathe fire, had a lion's head, a goat's head on the back and tail of a serpent ; other second had a goat's body, the tail of a serpent or dragon and lion's head. Spitting fire from its jaws and the bite was poisonous tail.
