Chupacabra

Chupacabra
or Chupacabras The chupacabra (goat sucker from Spanish and not to be confused with the bird called nightjars) is a legendary animal that wants to live in certain areas of the Americas. It was associated with an alleged apparitions of unknown animal in Puerto Rico (where it was received for the first time of the apparitions in 1990), Mexico and the United States, especially in the Latin American community of more recent formation. The name derives from the fact that was his custom to drink the blood of goats and other domestic animals, and to impose their particular mutilation. Descriptions of chupacabra by alleged witnesses are different. One of the most typical representations of a chupacabra is that of an animal rather heavy, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines from the head to the base of the tail. Most biologists and involved in forestry sees the chupacabra as a urban legend and academic cryptozoology in general does not consider this type of creatures. Recently, the myth of the chupacabra has been linked with the discovery of some carrion in Texas, that some media have presented as belonging to an unknown canid, related to coyotes, which may be spread across wide geographical area, although in relatively small populations and therefore little known to date, but in reality it was a coyote carcasses. should also be noted that while the first confirmed cases refer to victims bled completely by chupacabra holes through almost imperceptible, in recent cases have been attributed to the chupacabra literally chewed prey, which is a contradiction.
