DRAGON
The dragon is a mythical creature-legendary traits usually associated with serpentine or otherwise reptilian, and is present in the collective of all cultures, and Western as a malevolent being the bearer of death and destruction in the east as a creature of the bearer good luck and goodness. The term derives from the Latin draco (name), draconem (accusative), itself derived from the greek δράκων (drakon), with the homologous meaning snake. The etymology of the term was frequently discussed: connected with the verb δέρκεσθαι (dèrkesthai) "look", probably in connection with the powers attached to the eyes of these animals or their presumed acute sight.
